thats the one modem that does not work in my systems.... every other 3com does as does every other docsis modem...


but if your provider supports it... i'm sure it'll work fine.

It would be best to call and find out. Different companies support different modems.
 
CompUSA had the AVS500's on sale for 49.99 w/-10 Instant amd -10MIR for 29.99 about a week and a half ago, i got mine, and they are nice! Only thing is that there are no tone controls and they don't have rubber feet so they slide around.

Other than that, great system for the price, this isn't a bad one either.
 
This modem works good with attbi here in Michigan. In fact, it is MUCH more stable than the old RCA modem that I used to rent. YMMV however, so check with attbi first.
