I doubt Iggy would have come far rapping in the USA with a heavy Aussie accent .

You've obviously never heard Informer by Snow. Who knows what that white Reggae sounding Canadian rapper guy is saying, it is catchy!

An Aussie rapping would be just fine, if they have what it takes to be a good rapper. Iggy does not. She is produced pop garbage and will fall off just as fast as she came up.

The best thing about her is all the Snoop instagram pics making fun of her blown out look.

Informer is a nice song. It was played so often on the radio when it came out, that i started to have a seriously dislike to hatred for it.
I think she has some flow. I think people are being harsh these days, i saw an interview of her. When she speaks normally, you can hear her Aussie accent.
And her being ugly. People who say that do not have that great a look themselves.

EDIT: But is she not doing the same as Snow did, using a heavy accent and a dialect ?

Exactly. She's just another over-produced pop singer.

Trashy, exactly. I get the impression this bitch would fucking shoot me if I looked at her wrong. Gang land ghetto rap from Australia? Weird.

"I'm a black wi wi widow baby, fuckin kill you bitch BAM"

Except, she isn't gangster at all. Her response to the first Snoop Dogg diss says it all. She is not part of hip hop culture. Someone made fun of her and she responded with a tweet about how she was so hurt someone made fun of her. Yeah, that is something Biggie and Pac would have done... She didn't bother to respond in a way acceptable in the culture she is pretending to be a part of: diss that fool back! It ain't even hard, there is already a picture of a chihuahua that looks like him! Just post it!

LOL. All I can say is what my impressions are from hearing her music on the radio. That's what she puts out there for the masses to hear. I had no idea who she was and when I heard her I thought she was just another run of the mill black female rapper with a sassy, southern sounding gangster voice that indicates to the listener, "I'm a boss ass bitch"

Who fucking cares what persona she adopts?

You folks do know that the genesis of rock and roll was mostly white singers imitating blacks and co-opting their music, right?

Not the first won't be the last. You ever hear Die Antwood?

Ummm, if you listen to Die Antwoord and think they're black...I would have to question whether or not you've actually listened to Die Antwoord. To my ear, that would be akin to saying that Eminem sounds black.

I thought the lead singer from Alt-J was black when I first heard them, and I still refuse to acknowledge that Donald Fagen (Steely Dan) is white.
