Alright -- New Years Resolution time!!!

Last year, I made a plan to cut down my debt significantly, and I did -- I went from over 20k to less than $1000 (and thats only to make sure the 2 cards I own aren't cancelled.)

This year, I plan to get a nicer place out of the South Bronx, or even buy an apartment somewhere. I don't have a clue on how I even plan to start the process...but I really want to try.

My 2nd resolution is to maybe finally go out and snag some poor woman off the street and get something going. I am fucking tired of being single already. I make this resolution every year and always come up short... lol

So what does ATOT have planned?

2009: Be as happy as I can possibly be in every aspect of my life.
And I mean genuine happiness.
2008 = Horrible horrible year. (for the most part)

Can being happy actually be a resolution? I think everyone wants that. 🙂 There has to be something more tangible?

2008 - My resolution (which I kept) was to fast 1 day each month for the entire year.

2009 - My resolution is to donate 1 day a month to volunteer at a local youth camp.

I stopped going to the gym in November so I could resolve to start going to the gym again.

😕

My goal last year was to drop 40-50 pounds, and I just hit it a few months ago. Feels amazing. Except I think I went too far?

Which leads me to my 2009 resolution....putting the weight back on, but in the form of muscle. =]

I have a few other ones, such as being able to control my stress, I'm constantly stressed about something. Things like that.

For 2008:
- Significantly Pay down debt - EVERYTHING will be paid off by February!
- Get in better Shape. Body Fat is down 3% while my weight is the same!

For 2009:
- Save enough for down payment on house
- Run Half Marathon
- Get a fat raise

2008 - not to make any more new years resolutions.
2009 - going to make sure I keep last years resolution.

2008 - I gave up lent for lent.
2009 - thinking about doing it again.

If anything it would be to quit smoking, but to be honest I don't really want to quit, at least right now, so I think I'd fail at it.

-Stop smoking
-Start smoking weed again
-Get in better shape
-Get a better job
-Go to uni
-Get my own place
-Get my drivers licence
(-Get a car) <-- This one's a maybe..
-Travel to a country far, far away. Haven't decided which one yet.

Those, in that order.

I'm going to run a 10 k in less than my age in minutes (42, 43 in September). I've got a long way to go, since I'm running about 8.5 minute miles right now...

Shouldn't be too hard...I'm really enjoying my life right now. I'm happy, I'm have a job that's exciting and fulfilling...my only resolution will be to finally pick up running. I need to do more cardio to supplement my gym routine.
