Carson made the right choice by far, when he picked Leno over Letterman. Conan will be the perfect successor. I actually like him best!

Leno>Conan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Letterman

would add more > but you get the point

EDITED:
if andy was still with conan then...
conan&andy>>>>>>>>>>>>leno>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Letterman

Carson didn't pick Leno. Carson picked Letterman. In fact Carson, up to his death, wrote some of Letterman's opening monologues.

The president of GE picked Leno because he was cheaper and less of a wildcard.

Thank you for playing.

EDIT: Conan is funny. Dave is more of the people with regular folks sharing the stage (stupid human tricks, pet tricks, young science winners, etc.) Both Conan and Letterman share the same musical tastes with really good performers and not the Hollywood flavor of the month. Leno always has the same three questions for a guest and is the sycophant for the media giants and the show is a mirror of the shallow LA lifestyle.

that just proves that being the best at something means you cant always see who is better than another, letterman is just boring

Leno if I have to watch one. He's the only one that is consistently funny.

Conan never makes me laugh.
Now we have verifiable proof of who is the worst! If Electric Amish likes him, then Leno must really suck.

😛

I'm one of the few, Letterman is just funnier than Leno. Conan is just crazy. all are reletavily enternaining though.

Conan being a complete goof is what's so funny. The whole show is completely off the wall... even the guest segments usually degrade into bizarre antics eventually. But the whole feel is refreshing. Letterman is funny sometimes, but I can honestly say I've never been able to get into Leno. One of the few times I can remember laughing at his stuff wasn't even his own... it was the Leno South Park mini ep. 😛
