I've tested my setup over and over again... And I can't seem to even get it to work stable.

I've managed to run Prime95 a few times successfully, but its a hit and miss. I don't know if this is typical of Prime95 torture test.

After running the tests over and over again with different configurations... I've come to the conclusion that the second channel for the memory does not seem to work at all right.

I've tested Prime95 with only DIMM1 over and over again and it always passes...
However DIMMS2 and 3... whether its a combo or just a single stick on the MB always seem to reboot.

So I want to RMA my motherboard for another one (same one I really like the boards setup) --- though when I originally got the one i have right now, it was not shrink wrapped just in the box... (i bought it retail version)

Also I want to RMA my memory for the HyperX since I can't even get the GEIL value crap to run at its spec timings.

now since I'm swapping it for replacement...

I shouldn't be charged anything for the return right? except whatever the difference in the cost of the new items is?

Newegg is great with RMA's. I had an Enermax power supply that I returned 3 times within a year. I never got a hassle although the third time took a little longer. The only negative thing is that you have to pay to ship it to them. Because of there hassle free returns, I buy everything from them now.

Just go to their site and fill out the online return form. It's at the top of the page rma request.

I bought a dvd burner from them that also was just in the box. They told me it was a new drive, even though the quick start guide that came with it had obviously been used. It was in a separate zip lock bag. They said they had to open the box to get serial numbers and such, but I still feel they gave me an open box product. In order to return it you have to pay shipping. I wouldn't have a problem with this if I felt that, it was a new unused drive.
Guess I'll trust them on this one, since they have such a good reputation, but I will be cautious to order from them again.

I've seen and used hundreds of "retail boxed" motherboards and none of them are shrink wrapped. Newegg's RMA is painless and you can access it by clicking RMA REQUEST at the top of their page.
