<< I just registered for classes:

Intro to Public Speaking (Damn GE classes)
Calculus 1 (took AP Calc in HS, but forgot it all, then took Calc2 at a CC and failed miserably)
Basic Biological Concepts (More damn GE)
Intro to Systems Programming (from the secription, seems fairly easy)
Discrete Structures for Computer Science (all I know about this is that it's required)

Computer Science major, here. :)
>>

Yep, CS here too. You are gonna flunk to discrete for sure if the only thing you know is it's required.

How so? If I already knew it, there would be no point in taking the class.

Math 2090 Applications of Logic to Discrete Math

Cosc 2031 Software Tools (Unix and C)

Cosc 2011 Fundamentals of Data Structures (Java)

Phys 1410 Physical Science

Another one will be chosen in ten days.

This course can be ridiculously hard. At least you should know it is a class that you have to pay more attention to. Seriously, it can be a REAL killer.
