I was eating very healthy and working out a ton but somehow hit a "standing still zone" in my weight loss a few weeks back.
I was consistently going to the gym at least a few hours per day with only one day off per week, mostly doing cardio (running, stepper, swimming). But not really shedding any new pounds.
Then, recently, I fell in love with this Italian Restaurant and have started eating there more often. Chicken Parm sandwiches, Veal Saltamboco, Grilled Chicken sandwiches, etc. I'm very likely eating more meat now than I was before (in fact, I probably didn't eat much meat before, mostly sushi and fish). But I'm also eating a TON more pasta and a ton more bread (the sandwiches are on white bread, etc.).
Yet somehow, I'm losing weight again. Since I started eating there, I haven't changed my workout habits much, but somehow, the pounds are shedding again. So why would eating MORE crap make me lose more weight?
