Alpha Socket370 Heatsink fit on Socket A?

Will my old Alpha (PEP i think) i got for my socket370 ppga p3 500e fit on a new socketA athlon? if not, can i modify it?

If it's a PEP66, it will fit, but only with certain low-profile fans. If the fan is too wide, it might interfere with your motherboard's layout.
