I just pledged this semester, Tapout was yesterday. WOOOHHH go Schroeder!!

Also, is anyone here a member or has been a member of Alpha Phi Omega? What pledge class were you and what chapter?

For the record, it's A Phi O, not A P O
But, that's for the brothers who know 🙂
<--- former pledgemaster, etc.

Our chapter was among the best; certainly one of the top 2 in NYS...
service activity, i.e. help boyscouts build 100 picnic tables was *always* followed by a multi-keg party.
We helped a lot, we drank a lot. And, there were some advantages to having a coed fraternity 😉

Ah, those were the days... our college had no social fraternities, just one service fraternity - APO. My husband was president. Our college had no social sororities, just one service sorority - GSS. I was president. Chaperones for college functions had to be at least 21 and married. We were and so chaperoned all our own parties! 😀 Ah, those were the days...

You're right, I just got my pledge manual yesterday and it says that it cannot be written as APO, but as AFO. I guess we can still say Ay-Pee-Oh though.

meaning we started that chapter at VCU.

yes, VCU , where the cute missing white girl was from.

jerry was the former president, who knew clinton quite well since they went to the same school. jerry attended a lot of our regional functions back then since he's from the same region. nice guy.
