Alpha Pal6035 and XP+Mobile2600

Due to building in a SFF case I may want to use this combo.

Do you think this is adequate cooling if I dont overclock since it is a Mobile??

How about just running at 11.5 x 333?

Also have had the heatsink for a while, never used but copper is dull. How or wht would you use to clean it??

I have the same chip & HS and I've been fine all the way up to 11.0 x 420fsb with that cooling. It just hits 49C under load.

I am just about to buy a 60->92mm fan adapter & a panaflo to get the same (or more) cooling for less noise than my 5500rpm HS fan (not sure what brand.)

But please, if you've got the mobile, do the right thing and crank that sucker up!

Well, my 1700+ has been running a stable 2.1 @ 36-40C with an Aeroflow for about a year now but I want a fast quiet machine.

2600 may replace the 1700 in my main machine but just cant make up my mind. I also have a new volcano 12 and a Vantec Aeroflow but dont know what is going to fit in the new ARIA case.

Decisions, decisions!

Best would be 2600 with volcano in my game machine but hate messing with a solid performer at this point.

I have both my 2500+ (non mobile) running those HSF stable at ~2GHz. I haven't cared to push them farther, but I think they're about on par with the stock HSF
