Alpha PAL 8045, will it fit on a Shuttle AK31???

Just wondering... I was gonna buy one.. just wanted to check first.

Also, would a low volume Panaflo be good enough to cool an Athlon 1700+. Or will I need to use something with more power. I can't overclock much, cause the shuttle only lets my FSB go upto 138 before the USB ports stop working.

i'm pretty sure the 8045 WILL NOT work on the shuttle ak31 because of a capacitor or mounting screw or both

Yeah, i think it's because the frigging Northbridge is so close to the socket. But either way, it won't fit.

In this review here the guy got the Alpha PAL8045 to work without modification. Also, I'm using a Panaflo L1A on my 8045 cooling a 1600+ w/o any problems. If you're gonna try some extreme overclocking then I would go with something with higher output.
