Story

Well, that surprised me! Supposedly, he was out of the playoffs for sure and people were talking about the Heat trying to pick up any bottom of the barrel free-agent center they could find.

I fhe is at full strength by playoff time and Grant can move to his natural position, things will be very interesting int he East.

Wow, if the HEAT get Mourning back, the EAST will be very interesting, and the WEST might not run off w/ the Championship so easily :D (forget the Sixers, bad trade w/ Mutumbo) look for the HEAT to light it up :D if Mourning comes back and plays like he once did :)

I doubt Mourning will be back in his normal form this year. First, he has not played all year, so there has to be some rust. And no way he is in shape to play full time yet. The Heat would probably use him part time until the playoffs start, and gradually increase his minutes. If the Heat can make it past the second round of the playoffs, Mourning should be in good form then.

It's too early to tell how much of an impact he will make considering the circumstances.

This is to get him ready for the playoffs. They should make it out of the 2nd round (unless they play the Knicks ;) ) and his impact would really be felt by then.

picked him up right away on my fantasy team...
this seems so heroic if mourning comes back... almost as much as when MJ first came back from baseball... oh the drama in the nba rivals that of the drama in the WWF...storywise...
I fear mourning and I'm a knicks fan :(
