Almost perfect keyboard...

This is almost the perfect keyboard.

They f'd up a few things tho. 1: Don't mess with the KB layout, just take a normal keyboard and cut the thing between the F12 and the Print Screen key. Don't add keys back into the left side!!! 2: Let me put the 2 pieces of keyboard on the desk separated so I can stick my trackball right next to the QWERTY section. 3: Don't know if I like the media key layout, but since there's not a single good picture of this thing how do I know? 4: Ugly color

So that said... anyone seen something like what I'm talking about? Doesn't need to be wireless, in fact I'd prefer the wires....
 
I've seen two that put the keypad on the left so you can have your trackball close. I have one of them, the A4Tech KBS-2550ZRP wireless combo (add a U on the end for the USB version) Newegg occasionally has them. Then I saw another that has the notebook style keys. It is wired - no mouse. Look around, you'll find it - unfortunately its case is purple. I've found I can do the numpad as well on the left as on the right - maybe better...

They have it in silver too. It's by Evoluent and I've seen it for as low as the mid-20s (and as high as over $60.) but it's OOS most places that claim to carry it. I found more places that carry it by searching for- Evoluent Mouse-friendly keyboard -. Better prices found. Unfortunatly it is USB only and I buy only PS/2 or universal keyboards.

don't think theres such thing as a 'perfect' keyboard.
heres some things they should add
1. back light on keys
2. rechargeable batteries
3. change the color
4. remove the duplicate buttons
5. make the top of the main keyboard less ugly.
