Well, I was working my way down warren for no reason and this guy was riding his bike in the middle lane "no handed" - heh.... he swerved into my lane but I didn't budge cause I didn't really care for the dumbass. He ended up missing me by 1/2 inch. :Q

I used to work in a print shop.
I worked with this dude. Typical "blue collar" type, although pretty smart and really cool guy.
His license was suspended for DWI.
I guess he figured it was still OK to ride his bike home from the bar.
One night he calls me at like 11:30PM and says "I was hit by a car, dislocated my shoulder, tell the boss I won't be in tomorrow."
Wow that sucks!

The next day I read a report of it in the police blotter.
The report seemed to suggest that it was the bicyclist that hit the motorist.

Friend of mine's wife is a nurse at the ICU at the local hospital. They got a guy in one night that had been hit a by a car. Turns out, the guy was riding a bike one handed, across the interstate, with a case of beer in the other hand, while piss drunk. He got popped by a car doing a good 70+ miles an hour. He lived till he got to the hospital because the alcohol prevented his body from going into shock. He had over 30 bones broken from it. He never made it through the evening.

Moral of the story: Don't get drunk and ride a bike across the interstate. Bad things happen.

So, let me get this straight. For no reason, you don't care for this guy, drive with your knees, and decide not to avoid a potential accident, while taking a picture?

He's from dearborn; not only would that person probably not be missed, but they probably also aren't smart enough to sue.

keep it up uberdave, i wish you hit him. i hate people who ride down the middle of the road not giving a fsck about any cars coming. they dont realize its a lot easier for a car to hit them, then for them to hit a car

we get so many jaywalkers and bike riders like that around berkeley here. i've had times where i had to come to a screeching stop on a green cause some morons started jaywalking right in front of my car. i really wish i could just run them over...

but then again, if I hit them...I'd have a big dent in my car that I would have to fix. maybe if I had a front metal bumper attachment like those cop cars.

Nope.. you need a front bumper attachment like what they put on tanks to clear hedges after they invaded Normandy in WWII. This way, you impale the pedestrians/cyclists, and take them with you..
