ALMOST GOT SCAMMED selling on ebay! KUDOS to ANANDTECH for warning me!

So yeah, i am trying to sell a OCZ modstream PSU. A few hours after I listed it, someone bought it and quickly paypaled me the amount in FULL and ask me to ship out the package ASAP. His address is unconfirmed!!

E-mailing the user several times resulted no reply. In the end, I retracted the sale and refunded his $ and I still got no reply...looks fishy...

i thought you got scammed when they didn't pay you for something...:confused:

or did they use someone's account and are now trying to have you ship it to the thief's addess???

I always pay within minutes of buying or the auction ending. Of course I always answer emails too.

amazing how seller like you assuming everyone on ebay is trying to scam you. I assume the PSU is <$100, if I am a scammer, I will be going after a fx55 instead. you just cause yourself more hassles. PWNED.
