Almost got killed by NYPD this morning.

Was walking my dog on this cool April morning when 2 cops were walking on the same sidewalk as I was.

As they got closer, I accidentally caught eyes with one of them and he tells me "morning."

I kindly stop and wonder what my options were.

I could either:
  • Leave my dog behind and run?
  • Grab one cops gun as fast as I could and blow the 2nd one away then take care of the first, now unarmed one.
  • Lay down on my back and let them cuff and shoot me.

Instead, in my quick thinking I just said "morning" right back while my dog looked up at them with glazed over tired eyes.

I'm just happy I got to make this thread today. It could have been my last. 😡

Hopefully someone nearby was able to video tape this alleged encounter for use in your upcoming multi-million dollar lawsuit against the PD.

Is it legal to do that? He clearly had a private conversation with the PD. Might be a violation of their privacy to film the encounter.

I think they were Hispanic, so they couldn't be racist.
 
You should write the police department and the local news and let them know how grateful you are.
