Almost finished new system. Please help with RAM details

I've got my new system almost figured out, but I have a couple of questions lingering about my RAM choices.
It will be a mid-level type system that I'll use at home for playing games (FPS mostly, Doom3, HL2, and some older ones), a little DV editing, some website work, DVD burning, and the normal other home crap. I like to OC, but I don't go crazy. I'm looking at an A64 socket 939, but I'm still in the process of researching boards. I'm heavily favoring the NF3 250 ones over the VIAs.

The memory I'm looking at is more on the value end than the high end, and this is where I could use the most help. I'd like to get 2x512 for dual channel. What do you all think about these? Other suggestions? Here's some links.

Mushkin PC3200 CL2.5

Crucial PC3200 CL3

How well will they perform? Will they allow a decent OC?
I'd like to save a few bucks on the memory, but still have quality ram with some headroom and not hose my system with slow junk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

They will oc, but not by very much without raising the cas. Your lower latency pc3200 (2-2-2-5)(or 2-3-2-6) modules will oc much better or just go with faster RAm (pc3700 pc 4000 etc..) Your looking at spending $ on your system plz spend the $ on your RAM especially if you like to OC. For a gig I'd say $235-$290 is what your looking to spend. and read a little. 😉
