Almost as bad as pop ups...

Anyone else find this annoying?

Having more than one window open, you are trying to read what is in one, but the one in the background automatically jumps to the foreground when certain pages load...ie..MSN and ESPN.

At least with popups I can "x" them out before they even load, but with these pages you have to click on the msn page and then click on the page you were trying to read.

It urks me...if I wanted the page in the foreground I would have let them load that way....

There's a site I go to where they do that alot. The way they advertise on the web is so annoying I make it a point to never buy a product from the companies who do it.

I make it a point to NEVER click on banners.. I think I've clicked on two in my life. One was an accident; another was actually cool... It was an IBM advertisement where there was a golf ball and if you move the curser over it, it bumps the golf ball into a hole and plays cool music and tells you why you need IBM...


But for the most part, I will never click ads. They're a waste of the Internet.

Yes same here, normally I can kill it before the popup loads, but if it does load I will never click on it...normally I won't even click on the close or no box(sometimes results to more popups...Ughhh I hate that), I always click the "x" to close it.

Yeah those balloon ads are very annoying. Marketers don't care how many people they annoy provide they get at least a few hits. I tend to avoid sites with that stuff.
