Almost April and it's snowing again!

What a strange winter. Almost no snow all winter, then we've had 10" in the last 3 weeks.

Location?

Here in Vancouver metro area (BC, canada) we only had snow officially for 1 day! global warming has hit the west coast hard, a different story in europe and eastern North America..

The last few years I've kept running totals all winter, and we seem to typically get 100-120 inches through the season. This winter, we had 8.5" in December, and that was it until these little storms this month.

We've had a warm, mild year so far, with temperatures reaching the 60s, nearly 70. These storms are pretty weird.

Its funny you should mention this. We almost set a record in DFW for the longest stretch of days the mercury didnt break 80 degrees of 160 days today. Tomorrow we are expected to break it in spades. The last reading of 80+ was mid October.

The old record was set in 1915-1916 for 165 days.

Supposed to be in the 70's Friday and Saturday here in central Maine. Usually we have more than a foot of snow this time of year. I guess Al Gore was right huh?

So unfair, we have gotten almost no snow the entire Winter season so far. 🙁

Enjoy it. Hit the mid 80's here today, and going to be up in the 90's tomorrow, before settling back into the (normal) 70's for the rest of the week. Damn, late March and it's A/C season already!! D:

The West Hills may as well be on another planet as far as the Portland metro area goes. 😉 lol.. I believe it's in the upper 40s in the valley.. Which is below normal, but no snow at least.

That is pretty wacky though. It should turn around quickly..

I'm west of the West Hills, but at a similar elevation to some of the higher points in the West Hills. It's 40 down in Hillsboro and supposed to get pretty cold tonight. Forecast says I should get this weather at least through thursday, probably through saturday. 😱

Its been super hot here latetly. Almost all our snow is gone! We hardly had any snow to begin with, actually. This can't be the end though... I'm sure there's a storm coming there has to be. I've never seen a winter without at least one big storm, by storm, I mean waking up in the morning and there's about 4 foot drifts in the driveway.
