Awesome, very glad you decided to quit. I quit twice and played for a total of about 9 months between quiting twice and have been free of wow now for about 6 months. It really is all about helping your guild friends progress. The reward structure is very bad. When 98% of guilds that have been playing for 2 years cannot finish the content before the expansion comes out you know something is wrong. Only the rare elite guilds with fanatical players achieved that goal.

I disagree. There is always stuff to do. PVP in the battlegrounds, do some Arena team work, spec and work toward gearing your character toward more difficult dungeons to run. Hours and hours of fun fun fun....it never ends. Plus WoW saves money. You can pay 15 bucks a month and not have to worry about buying other games.

You say you disagree but you seem to have said similar things to what he wrote... I'm confused.

I quit awhile back. It wasn't because it was eating all my time, even though it did take a considerable portion. I just quit because it was boring.

No DT's, no 'OMG I WANNA LOGIN AND LEVEL'

I just quit. No regrets yet.

I've never been addicted to WoW...I only play with some buddies in real life some of whom have been relocated across the country, we play a few nights a week for an hour or three depending on the night, and its a great way to 'hang out' virtually. Maybe I just don't have an addictive personality or something but the game is a lot of fun if you have a bit of self control.

Huh, you need to reread my post or something because I don't talk about being bored or not having something to do, although I do think the game can be very very boring when doing the same instance over and over and over and over and over and over and over like Molten Core was. To make it worse they limit the number of runs a guild can do in a week before a reset etc. All about making the game last as long as they can. PUKE
