Do any of you have a clever way of opening black walnuts? I don't care for them much(too strong), so I never fooled with them before, but this year's been a bumper crop. I feel like I should put them to some kind of use; maybe sell the shelled meat.
My father had to go to the hospital after shelling a bunch. They blistered the skin on his hands, but I don't know how he was shelling them.
