Alltel Certificate Error

I am trying to pay my bill online as usual but I just recently upgraded to Firefox 3. Until now, I have had no trouble logging onto my account and paying my bill. However, just tonight, I am unable to access my account due to Firefox's inability to verify the site's certificate. When I went to add it as an exception, it prompted me with a warning stating that no public site, bank, etc. will ever ask to do this.

Should I add the website as an exception or is there something else working behind the scenes here? Also, the certificate error screen only pops up when I attempt to log onto my account. I can access the main page just fine. It's trying to log in is the problem here.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Double check you are on the site you need to be on. I know that Alltel's wireless division was purchased by Verizon and the Wireline division (including CATV and Broadband) were converted to Windstream. Alltel as a brand is defunct and I would not be using their domain name to access the site anymore.
