Fock! these days popup ads just get WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of hand! Sometimes they even take full screen of display with NO close button!! WTF! I need an effective popup killer! What do you guys use?

i use the mozillafirebird browser... it has excellent popup control and numerous other useful features. if you don't wanna stop using IE, i hear the google toolbar is a worthy addition.

Google bar, it so unintrusive and you KNOW you aren't voluntarily adding 40 spyware programs!

FIREBIRD!! If you take 30 min you can customize it any way you want (the look and extensions) and it is BY FAR the best browser I've ever used. I dont remember the last time I had a pop-up and tabbed browsing is the ultimate.

Another vote for google toolbar. You also get instant searching, it's great.

I have heard there may be this item called a google toolbar that will remove popups. You may wish to check it out.

Another vote for Avant Browser. It has a few bugs when working in non-poweruser or admin accounts, but it works extremely well for the most part. Since it uses IE services, it is completely compatible with almost every website out there.
