Alliance outnumbers Horde on nearly every WoW server

Most players play the following races in order from most played to least played (the top 4).

1. Night Elves.
2. Humans.
3. Undead.
4. Dwarves.


These are perfrecly in line with which races have the hotest female models. I believe that that is one of the main factors for people chosing a race in WoW, due to the evidence of race statistics and the lack of people playing horde (the only horde race in the top 3 in the undead).
 
My server is like 6500 to 500, so yes, we are outnumbered. I play for PvE so I don't care much.

I think most female players choose alliance. I think there is a lot more humor on the Horde side personally. Plus, I think the hate against the Alliance runs deeper than the hate against the Horde. Particularly because of the minority status and the need for support grouping. But I will admit, even I enjoy the occasionaly female night elf dance.

Heh yea, if you're a guy who prefers to have a hot chick character instead of a beefcake fugly male there's only one faction choice. I think their areas are uglier too.

Down with horde!

I made a Horde character in open beta though. It was funny hearing kids in general chat arguing about whether or not Troll and/or Undead women were hot.

But, ya, in EQ, there were about 20X as many elf females as total women players on a server.

they are better looking than Troll, Orc, Tauren and gnome women
 
People play Alliance races because their model looks better, not necessarily only the female models, and their items looks better on them.
 
Yeah, they would have been much better off having humans available to both sides. Would have meant less 'character' for the horde side, but the numbers would have been rather more even.
