many don't hate us (or wouldn't)
Many live in America

It's just that stupid people (like massive extremists and dumb politicians who may or may not have teh name Bush) keep pissing them off into hating the west

Allahu Akbar

It literally means God is great.

The "u" is a dammah, Arabic vowel, or tashkeel, like nikkud in Hebrew.

This isn't trying to be offensive (as I mentioned), so don't accuse me of it

Don't forget to log in with your other account so you can bash the OP again.

i think i'm just sad that people would attach such a horrible meaning to a phrase that is meant to show respect to god.

What exaclty does uit mean

Is it an extremist thing, or part of normal Muslim life

note: I respect muslims, I know some
This is NOT a "pick on teh muslims thread"
edit* thanx for the spelling, I'd only heard it spoken had no clue how to spell it

If you respect mulsims... you would not have made this thread.

I, being a Hindu, have better taste. And we hate them towel heads.

I was donning the cloak of a grammar nazi by attempting to show your mistake. You said 'There is some pretty ignorant people out there..." instead of the correct "There are...".

But I was j/j :p
