Well, Im not sure if someone from here or not but I wouldn't Doubt it. I saw watching some XFL at the Chicago/San Fran Game, the Camera went to a guy holding an All you Base Belong to Us sign and was held on him for like 5 seconds then went to commercial. What have we started?!?!

we didnt start anything... it was all over the internet before peolpe here started using it... we should start a timeline for all the newbies..

it will talk about where the word &quot;nef&quot; came from, and what all your base is and where it started...
 
I know when it started, I am saying It seems odd after the post of This how we all know how stupid it is but how we all can identify what it means.

I don't think you do. It started in either spring or early summer of last year, and didn't make its ways to this forum until December of last year. It didn't happen because of that post.
 
You have to admit though... The guy who started this whole thing has to feel pretty cool right about now. 🙂

The All your base is like the &quot;Is Suck&quot; that we used in the Hot Deals forum back awhile back it just stuck for awhile then died like VA died.

I believe the first place it went outside of the SA forums is penny-arcade. From there all the gaming related forums were infected (at which time it was still mildly amuzing). And by the time it spread to anywhere outside the gaming forums it was over done, and now that it's in the wild it's annoying.
 
It didn't even start at the SomethingAwful forums. It was around before that in other gamer-centric places. There's a timeline/history thing on it somewhere, but it definitely didn't start there.
 
i guess we can say it was revived there? well, whatever, i still find it hilariously ammusing when my friend answers the phone to telemarkets and yells &quot;ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!&quot; and contiunes to carry out the conversation w/ &quot;MOVE ZIG FOR GREAT JUSTICE&quot;..... he managed to get one of the telemarkets to scream at him
