All You People Who Are On Weight Watchers

Aimster

How many points do you eat a day? It is between 18-23, right?

I just bought like $100 worth of food from them, well not from them but from the grocery store and it has a point system that follows their program. I don't have a weight watchers near me or I would go see what they would have to say.

I'm 6'3 203 pounds.

Yeah seriously, how dare you! Real men watch TV, eat chips and drink cheap domestic beer all day!

Yeah really. There are lots better ways to lose weight without spending ridiculous amounts of money on their "special" food.

Personally I'd recommend the South Beach diet because it's not as restrictive or harsh as Atkins.

Their food is actually pretty good.

I got a bunch of mini pepporni pizzas and ice cream bars and ice cream shakes. Taste really good.

Although it's not the most manly way to lose weight it's better than being a fat ass, as Krassus alluded to. From what I've heard weight watchers has a higher success rate than standard dieting approaches, in great part because of its support groups and what not.

As long as it's healthy and works, Aimster, keep at it!

i am not on weight watchers but i know people who have tried it.. i think its more like 20-28 points

but it depends on your starting weight

According to the old program (I think they just changed about a month ago), if you're 203 pounds, you should be eating 24-29 points a day. Once you hit 175-199 pounds, move to 22-27 points a day. And make sure you hit the bottom number of points.

Haha, yeah, definitely eat. If you don't hit the bottom point value (or at least somewhere close to that - with time you might figure out that your point value needs to be adjusted to match your lifestyle), your body just retains all the weight because it thinks you won't get enough food, and so it just stores up the food.
