I can't find the 2 dvds out for $13.95 deal on their website?

Also - it probably is possible to buy yourself a gift certificate at a discount rate of $17-$14 a month for a multi-month agreement. With the gift certificates you don't get the free month, and it is only possible for new members. Perhaps you could cancel and then restart with a new gift certificate when the purchased times runs out?

Regardless, $20 a month seems like a much better deal than $50+ a month for satellite/cable and 100 channels WITH NOTHING ON!

I could not find the two a month either until I went through the cancel procedure at the last step. Right before you quit it asks one last time are you sure we have a two out at a time deal.

Also be careful with your free month because it is not a free month it is a free 4 weeks so they charge you after 28 days.

If you get a disk from Netflix that is damaged, then don't request that they replace it with the same movie. The first time I received a damaged movie, then sent back the exact same DVD that I reported as damaged. That really pissed me off because it wasted a lot of time for that same movie to be sent to and from me twice. I started to writed "damaged" on the top side of the DVD with a sharpie marker, but I thought they might try to charge me or some other BS like that.

there was a 30 day dvd rental pass in my local blockbuster a while back - 1 per day, skip a day lose a dvd... kinda like the game rental passes now.. It was $20, and I'm assuming that was what he was talking about. There was a $8 30day pass just for the favorites. But I've yet to see these deals since about 3 months ago.

I used netflix for the past 2 years straight. Its a good service but it does have its issues. It started off great I paid 18.95 a month and got 4 movies out for that. But then last year the changed it to $19.95 and only 3 movies out, this made a big difference I was getting from 12-20 movies a month but with the change it dropped to 8-15. There is also one trick you can play to maximize movie flow, is to use the already mailed back option. But now they make you wait 2 days longer than the schedualed arrival date before you can use the feature, in the old days you could do it the same day it arrived. This trick will make them send the movies a few days faster in most cases. What makes it good is the massive selection of movies no blockbuster on the planet comes close, but on the other hand the obscure movies that make the larger selection usualy are in short supply so you end up waiting forever for it to get in. Also a couple nice features are the rental queue and the custum reviews and suggestions they give based on other users reviews. I cant say alot of bad things about them in the 2 years I was with them 2 movies got lost in the mail and they never charged me for them or theatin'd to, just took as a loss. But after such a long time I found my self running out of movies to watch that I hadnt already seen or wanted to see plus it seemed like everthing I wanted was out of stock so I finally canceled because it was getting to the point that I was only getting a couple a month. I hope my little speal helps others in some way, but now I am back to blockbuster and those damn late fees.
