Ok, well, one day a few weeks ago I tried to install Windows again. I try, it stops and freezes up at 34 minutes left of installation. I say ok, try again. Same thing, try again, same thing. I say oh ok, must be something wrong. So I thought it was the motherboard (ASUS A7N266-E). Sent it in for a RMA, got it back yesterday. Put everything back together today. And what do I get? Stop at 34 % again! Damnit, so I go ahead and think now it's the HDD. I got a RMA for the HDD, and I go to test it at a friends house. Guess what? THE HDD WORKS! LOL. Come back here, try different ram, try different ide cables, try pretty much everything. I narrowed it down to the CPU and power supply. So I slap the power supply a little, and tap on the HSF. I take out the keyboard/mouse/cat5 cable connected to the nic. Boot it up, and it works! WOOHOO! while installing i throw in the usb keyboard/mouse!@
Damnit, I just had to let this all out.
PEACE!
