Golden rule? That's a perfect example why religion doesn't belong in government.

Take comfort in the fact that your beliefs are similar to those we call terrorists.

So treating others how you want to be treated is a radical religious viewpoint now? Or do you prefer the do unto others before they can do unto you version. ironically both versions actually work with my previous post.

I'm not terrorizing anyone, something that can't be said for Senator Feinstein who has spent two decades harassing law abiding American citizens.

Not sure what you mean. When a representative attacks a Constitutional right I don't care who he or she is. I fairly beat up on the Bush administration because of it.

Yes and they should be delt with appropriately, the post I responded to preferred to sidestep our laws and her rights, doesn't that pur him in the same boat?

Harassing or representing her constituents who have different views than yours? Remember she is an elected official.

Last time I checked it's perfectly legal for the government to detain someone without charge, indefinitely. In fact I think you messiah Feinstein voted for it didn't she?

Her views aren't counter to mine, they are counter to the United States Constitution that she took an oath to uphold. She has publicly stated she would love to completely disarm the American public.

She also brandished an AK-47 at a crowd, if you or I did that we would probably be shot by law enforcement.

Gotcha. I was referring to her being subject to the same loss of rights that she inflicts on others. No more no less.

Short of seeing Senator Frankenstein and her supporters imprisoned at GITMO indefinitely this is the happiest outcome we could hope for.

It would be nice to lock them up at GITMO and teach them a lesson for attacking the Constitution but mocking and ridiculing them is still very effective.

Perhaps it hasn't been the best way to confront gun violence in our country; however don't be so happy to dance on the bodies of those that suffered....

Always nice to see the resident defender of the constitution putting away that defense when it involves people he disagrees with.

They are disgusting piece's of shit for having a different opinion other then yours? You should run for congress.

Mere opinions do not confiscate your property, interfere with your free market rights to acquire said property in the future, and make you a criminal for already owning said property.

Nice try hiding behind "just a different opinion" when you know full well it's not just their opinion that matters so much as the fact they are in a position of power to inflict their opinion on you as the ONLY opinion allowed, completely disregarding YOUR opinion, and having a real and tangible consequence on your life if it happens not to be the same opinion as yours.

So yeah, disgusting pieces of shit sounds about right.

It's not about them having an opinion, it's about their opinion being acted on by force of law that has effects in real physical life.

Like my saying in my opinion I should be able to light you on fire. That's fine, but if I actually light you on fire, or push legislation that makes it legal to light you on fire while threatening you with a gun or jail time if you dont allow me to light you on fire, that's different.

You know that is not going to happen. And these people want to violate the US Constitution. What should happen to feinstein and her supporters?

As in GITMO, kicked out of the country or have their Constitutional rights violated just like they did to others.

These people tried to violate the rights of innocent Americans.

A lot less close than it would have been 10 or 15 years ago. Things are moving, glacially :p, in the right direction.

Sheriff's refusing to enforce gun bans, police departments promoting that people need to be armed to protect themselves in high crime areas and admitting they can't be everywhere and do everything for everybody. Not even a watered down background check bill has a chance in hell in passing with a democratic majority. SCOTUS ruling that civilians have the right to own any weapon that a soldier can (eg serving a militia purpose).

Yeah, finally the right attitude about guns is taking hold in this country.

Now, I pledge to volunteer my personal time armed patrolling/guarding a elementary school. Lets make it legal for me to do so now.

And repeal the 1986 machine gun ban. I don't even care about the registration or tax stamp, just let me have a new production select fire assault rifle for $900.

They have a right to EXPRESS their OPINION.

They do not have the right to ACTUALLY deprive other individuals of their natural rights, even if their attempts failed.

Yes and they don't have the right to a fair trial by a jury of their peers, guilty until proven innocent!

And this is why I can't take you seriously.

These same people want to fuck the Constitutional rights of Americans so all I say is to do the same to them to see how they like it.

There is a difference in expressing an opinion and then violating the rights of Americans.

The people they would send to enforce their new laws, people armed with guns and a badge threatening my property and my life because it's the law now, they wouldn't have had a fair trial either when they came onto my property. It's only fair their bosses meet the same fate after sentencing their enforcers to certain death. And I certainly wouldn't be receiving a fair trial in the ensuing return volley.

And this outcome was totally acceptable to those who crafted the legislation in the first place. I would be labeled a terrorist, an extremist, for defending myself and my property.

Give them their trial and hang them in public for treason. And the jurors for Feinstein don't get to come from California, they get to come from the other 49 states her bullshit would have affected, people who didn't have a say in her endless re-election but none the less would have been impacted be her legislation for generations long after her expiration.

I find it a general good rule of thumb in P&N that if you don't have an opinion on a topic, see if Incorruptible chimes in and go the opposite way. It's the most sure fire way that you'll end up picking the correct political viewpoint.
