I seen this before.

Honestly its probably because he likes something on the network. I notice the New York times and other news papers.

I'm sure he gets briefed on major news items all the time.

Maybe he likes Fox occasionally giving stories on non-national news. Those around the world in 60 seconds or something that shows odd news pieces. Fox news at least in my late night viewing seems to be the only network that bothers to give updates ever half hour to an hour any something national and some more local but newsworth. CNN, MSNBC they just run some other show or for msnbc informercials in the early morning hours.

You think Cheney gets his news from the mainstream media? lmao
He probably enjoys the commentary and opinion shows. I mean seriously, the guy is probably briefed hourly on major happenings around the world and you think he turns on Fox to get it?

No doubt Cheney does not get his news from Fox news.
More likely he watches in order to see how the news is playing out on TV for the American public.
Since Fox News is the #1 rated news channel Cheney could just be watching to see how the news is presented on the most popular news channel.
The fact that the channel's opinion shows tend to lean to the right just makes the channel easier to watch.

BTW: When it comes to hard news coverage Fox News is rather middle of the road.
