I went into the Sharper Image in Tysons Corner and saw that they had all foam pillows on sale for half off all this month! The sign said you are suppose to buy something else to get this half price deal, but I asked the sales rep and he said that I didn't have to buy anything else if I didn't want to. So I walked out with two foam pillows, no prob!

I am pretty sure this is nationwide since I was told by a sales rep at a different Shaper Image that this sale was coming.

So, have good night's sleep!

Added 9/2:
There is a $10 off $50 coupon on visa.com

you are *suppose* to buy something else, so that might be YMMV, but should still be half price everwhere (with additional purchase)

I bought one from www.sharperimage.com for $50 for queen size. Standard size is $35.

You have to buy something at regular price, but that can be a 4 pack of AA batteries for four dollars. link

There is a $10 of $50 coupon at visa.com .

There are also free shipping and 15% coupons floating around.

Regular: $34.99
Extra Thick: $44.99
Queen Size: $49.99

all price are "with additional purchase"
but, like I said, sales rep at the store I went to said I didn't need to buy anything else, so maybe you might be lucky there too if you ask...

nice prices!!! are these high density? or low density? costco and sam's club sells the regular size low density for ~$25-30. if these are high density ones, that'd be great!

Picked one up today.
Had to buy AA batteries though, for $3 and some change.

From what brief search I did on the "memory foam pillow" post here, the Sharper Image is NOT a tempurpedic.. but was rated as one of top 5 by most?

The tag says "made in Korea" and I tried the Tempurpedic at a Brookstones in the same mall. Sharper Image pillow was slightly less dense, but good nonetheless. Hope this helps.

My queen-sized sharper image pillow arrived, it seems good for $42. They also included a $25 gift certificate good on anything at shaper image.

You may be able to get the pillow without buying anything else and with free shipping by using this link .

Always glad to give back to the community that has given me so much (and cost me so much money!)

Hope you don't mind but I just "borrowed" the above response for my signature for awhile. It speaks miles about our community and not about personal greed!

PS Whoops! For a minute I thought I was somewhere else (FW) and used it below. And now, I can't seem to be able to change my signature! Whatever the case, it still rings true!

Hmm, not sure whether to try standard, extra, or queen size on this. Bought what I presume is a standard size from JC Penney. Would like to try some other ones out.

For those who by one (or more), what "size" would you say you are? I'm 6'2", 205, personally.

Everyone who is considering buying a memory foam pillow should definitely check out the thread that has been going on in these forums for over a year. It just had its 900th post, and it is still going strong. Lots and lots of information about the various pillows, prices, quality, and info on memory foam mattress toppers also......go get it!!

"The Unofficial Memory Foam/Visco Elastic/NASA Pillow Thread"

Thanks to Atrac for starting the thread. I think that there have probably been threads with more posts in these forums, but a thread that has lasted over a year with 900+ posts I think stands alone in the test of time category.

You want the "extra loft" or extra thick. At least 5". If they don't have that, wait until they do.
