I'm just thinking about how when I was in school I got a lot of crap for having poor grades with the same sh1t being spewed from my teachers with phrases like, "you have so much potential" or "you're smart, I know you could do better" when I know the only reason they've come to that conclusion was because they likely looked at my IQ in the school records (assumes that I've taken the test).

Now the question is ask is, do all school administer the IQ tests to see if they need to move students to "more appropriate classes"?

The question is, how do you know? I was never told that I took an IQ test but I'm pretty sure that I took one..

I went to catholic school up till the ninth grade. Even if you were a genious, they never moved you up. They wanted that tuition money.

As far as I know, all we took were those standardized fill the circle tests.

It's just lipservice. They don't know whether or not you're smart. They're trying to boost your motivation and show you the importance of homework and applying yourself. If you sell yourself short all the time, you'll end up as a garbage man. Start putting forth the extra effort, and show your teachers you're not the retard they see on paper.

I doubt they "see a retard" on paper. "Scoring well" on homework assignments wasn't a real problem for me as a child or adult, it's just that I don't feel like doing the work because for the most part it was and still is busywork/bullshit. It's not like every homework assignment I turned it came back with "See teacher after class" with a D+ mark or 0 credit mark on it...

Sorry to break it to you, but this is what teachers say to all dumb kids to motivate them. You're special, but it's the short bus kind.

I took an IQ test once. They classified me as retarded which turned out to be great. I went into a women's bathroom once and some lady showed me her goods.
