I'm trying to figure out the wording for a Christmas party we are having - the problem is this - I am trying to merge two parties into one. I have to somehow incorporate the proofs from the wedding. (People have been wanting to come over and look at the proofs, so I figured this would kill two birds with one stone)

So far, this is what I have:

Option 1:

Set your sights
on Christmas lights
and eggnog ?round the tree?

Please join us
for an Open House
and an opportunity
to peruse the
wedding proofs!
(Date, address, RSVP)

Option 2:
You?re invited
To our Open House

Food and Drinks
Friends and Fun
(and a chance to look
at our wedding proofs)
(Date, address, RSVP)

Option 3:

?The stockings were hung
by the chimney with care??
In hopes that our guests
soon would be there!

Please join us for a
Christmas Open House

(and an opportunity to look
at our wedding proofs)
(Date, address, RSVP)

Option 4:

Not mention anything about the pics, and include another small card with the invitation mentioning the proofs



I am counting on you rhyming poets to help me out 🙂 It would be great if I could get the pics part to fit in with the rest of the rhymes...

Proposed invitation (haven't run this by my husband yet):

the invitation will be red 5.25x4.5 with an embossed outline of a green tree, and a piece of white vellum over the top with the wording, all attached together with a red raffia bow...
