All praise XP's compatability mode!

Ok Games have been running crap on XP, even in 98 compatability mode, but today I got an update and the compatibility mode works SWEET. No more chopiness in games, I haven't played games in months because of that.

Anybody have Castle Wolfenstein on XP yet? I want to pick it up if it runs good.

Which games didnt work? For me, all games work under compatibility mode... since RC1.

Well it's not that it didn't work, it's just that it didn't work very well. It had the same performance as as regular XP mode when i'd run it in compatability mode. Red faction, commandos 2, operation flashpoint, etc...

i haven't reseached this, but are the sound blaster cards compatible yet? im sure they are, but im lazy to look

yes, SB cards work.

BTW, Win2K also has compatibility mode.

wolfenstein's working fine in xp. i havent tried it in any other OS.

for some reason..after playing wolfenstein for a long time, im starting to suck in CS
