All of the things millenials are killing (suggest additions inside)

Schools started teaching what to think, instead of how to think.
Media started telling people how they should feel rather than reporting the facts.
The ability to think critically about the world around them was largely lost in Millennials, except for stupid meaningless shit like how to get their Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Snapchat follower counts up. Being a unique snowflake helps with that. Gotta stop the evil corporations as you flaunt your Prada handbag and your Gucci whatevers. But heaven forbid you should offend any of the snowflakes or point out their blatant hypocrisies - they will literally shake and melt in front of your eyes.

Spoken like someone that does very little thinking let alone actually has done much to learn that education rates are the best in history, and that chances are they're smarter than you are, possibly by quite a bit depending on just how old you really are (look up the Flynn Effect). Also, you know all that bitching about Common Core math thanks to old morons that couldn't understand it (I'm noticing a trend of "I don't understand it, but damnit if they aren't the idiots and not me!")? You do realize that was about getting kids to think about math more abstractly and not just simple numbers, since that is more important (especially in higher math).

Oh shit, look, in the sky, there's clouds for you to yell at!

Kids...can't live with them, can't shoot them.

Sure you can, just scream that you felt threatened and are just exercising your 2nd Amendment right. And get this, the more kids the more you can feel threatened and the more you can shoot! But you might wanna make sure you're in a state that'll let you do large clips, or even better, belt fed.

I'm in the 99th percentile for education and intelligence, but thanks for assuming my education, my intelligence and my age. Now get off my lawn.

good god this is stupid and wrong. holy hell.

I like how society blames millenials for lot of that stuff, but yet is making it harder and harder to make good money - lot of those things rely on having disposable income. Now days everything goes against you if you want to make money. Either some law saying what you're trying to do is illegal (kids can't even set up a lemonade stand anymore FFS so even early on they don't want you to make money) or the fact that there are less higher paying jobs. Or if you try to run a small business you are regulated 6 ways to sunday and taxed to hell while corporations get all sorts of breaks.

Then they ask stupid questions like "Why are millenials not spending as much?"

For being that smart you sure don't actually seem to have very good comprehension. You could be the smartest organism in the history of the universe, but if you don't think much or actually learn information then its meaningless. Thanks for proving my point though!

Ok Seinfeld. Oh no, people use to pay me money to say outrageous shit, now they tell me to go fuck myself!?! Oh no the world is changing. Pretty sure there's nothing preventing hacks like Seinfeld from getting a permit to go somewhere public and spout their inane observations if they're actually that upset about people not being able to listen to them. The truth is they're just pissy because people have so much other entertainment that listening to random assholes offer their opinions on various topics is something they can easily find for free on the internet. No need to go spend money at comedy clubs to spend on overpriced drinks and probably random drunken asshole hecklers.
Spoken like a good little millennial who views the world through a 4" window and can't tell the difference between YouTube and real life. 😀

Strong words coming from someone that admits they're either constantly under so much pain that it inhibits their brain, or is drugged to compensate. Either way, you're clearly not someone that should be speaking of ability to understand reality.

Some of you people need to recalibrate your sarcasm meters.

Obvious bait post making sweeping generalizations in a thread making fun of sweeping generalizations should be obvious.

I was so excited when I found this to post.

It must be the drugs making me so tolerant of your delusions. What's your excuse?

What's your basis for "Smarter"?

You're talking about a generation where 98% of them cannot do any of the following:
#1. Make meals. The number of millennials right now that come out of college knowing how to make extraordinary amazing dishes such as mac n' cheese and ramen is ridiculous

#2. Fix a car or Fix a computer. Millennials just throw a phone/laptop away and buy another one - or they try to take it to a shop. They use all these devices, but they have no basis or understanding of how they work.

#3. Communication and verbal skills are scary retarded. The majority are just socially retarded and they wouldn't last a day doing job interviews and presenting themselves well and knowledgeable. Realize yet part of why drug epidemics have been skyrocketing in things like opiates, painkillers, and anti-depressants?

#4. Financially retarded. Kids that put in hundreds of thousands of dollar investments into schools and student loans - all to come out of a for-profit degree windmill with a joking degree (Psychology, Philosophy, Gender Studies, <insert stupid degree>. You would think with this level of investment that you would know to research the school, research the job market, and research the degree and classes and how it can get you to the ultimate goal (getting a job).

On that note - balancing a checkbook. I'm not saying it's necessary to do it - but I guarantee most kids wouldn't last a day if that was still the norm.

Add to that retards that don't understand the concept of $5 cups at Starbucks every day is part of the reason they can't afford to move up in life.

#5. They live a life of denial of portraying fun times on facebook but living in complete depressing times. It's like a reformed version of Keeping up with the Jones... instead of trying to brag about purchases to your neighbor they try to do it on Facebook to the Internetz and act like they are always having fun. Anyone that isn't retarded knows that the most active people on Facebook are the ones that are the most depressed in life.

I can go on and on - you get the picture. And feel free to deny it - I say all of this as a millennial myself. I feel damn ashamed to be lumped into this group and would be much more satisfied if I was the forgotten generation X.

I heard millennials killed Santa Claus and the Easter bunny too. 🙂

The CEO of Applebees came out and said that millennials love Applebees. The problem is there are too many restaurants that serve the same food. Ruby Tuesdays, Chillis, Applebees, Dave's Ribs, Frisco Taphouse and every bar/Taphouse have the same stuff so they are all sharing the same slice of pie.

Eh, there is just something about restaurant chains - they just go down further and further with time - yet they keep their prices at the same rate. They turn all their food into frozen processed junk. Good examples are Chilis/Fridays... Used to go to them as a kid growing up, and as I grew up as an adult I noticed the food just continued to go down further and further.... So I don't even find it worthy of going to those places (Outback Steakhouse, Chilis, Applebees, Olive Garden, Fridays, etc..). If I want cheap food I just go to fast food equivalents like Chipotle - cheaper and the food quality is on par or better.

I am guilty of not knowing how to cook. I really think this is something they need to actually teach in high school as part of the normal curriculum. It's something very hard to learn on your own without tons of hours and dedication spent on it and most people just don't bother. Every time I look at a recipe I don't know what half the ingredients even are, or it just looks like way too much work, give up, and order pizza. 😛 What's funny is the stuff that is not good for you tends to be the easiest to make.

Get yourself a slow cooker. It is not that hard to put in small pot roast or corned beef brisket along with veggies, some seasoning and a little water. Put on the lid, turn it on, leave it alone for 6 to 8 hours and come back. Enjoy your meal.

Not hard at all.

I do have one and have a few stew recipes I know for it. But as far as variety I don't know a lot of them so I'm often eating the same things. But yeah slow cooker recipes tend to be the easier ones. The nice thing is that it makes a lot so I tend to be good for a few meals and it's hard to screw up the actual cooking because the times are not as sensitive. Like some things you go a few minutes over or under and it's not good but with slow cooker even an extra hour is not really going to be bad. I then put the stew in glass pyrex containers then freeze it. I was a bit weary about it cracking but it seems ok so far.
