Hi All,
Im currently having issues on one of my computers. It just all of a sudden stopped connecting to my router. It has been running great, until now, BAM!
The Problem/situation:
- On board network adapter
- Direct wired connection to router (NETGEAR WGT624)
- One more computer and one wired print server connected to router also (both works fine)
- Other wireless devices can connect to this router fine
- Sometimes it connects to router, can SEND data, but not RECIEVE
- At times, like now, even when wires plugged in, says the device is unplugged, and others it says limited connectivity.
- I recently bought another computer, which uses a wireless card that I set up. Could this be a coincidence or something to do with the settings of the other computer?
Things I've tried:
- Deleting the harware and reinstalling it with drivers
- Switching the cables and ports around in case of bad wire/port on router
- Running the Windows "Home Network" Wizard
- Resetting the router to factory settings and starting over
- Windows system restore to back when it was working, yet no luck
MOBO is ECS's PT800CE-A
I'm running Windows XP SP2
Help!
