Not sure about those rims

btw check this out

Try a Mercury Marauder two door convertible. That's right. A rear wheel drive, supercharged screaming full sized Merc. convertible. Ford's investment in the program is a good sign that Mercury has a future.

Another source told BlueOvalNews that Ford division will not get a twin to the future mighty Merc., but Lincoln definitely will. Ford has been toying with the idea of a V-12 6.0L Lincoln convertible for several years - but after several prototypes were made (a V-12 Town Car Hard top) nothing ever materialized. Thanks to Herr Wolfi from PAG, we will see a Lincoln and a Mercury convertible. . . .but forget the V-12, they will both use a V-8.

That's interesting about the Marauder - all the reports I have seen say that it will be based on the body of the Grand Marquis, which is definitely not a two-door, and definitely not a convertible. The "Thunder" sounds pretty sweet, though.

New Town Car? My Grandpa will be SO excited! ;)

(Actually, my grandparents have an Accord and a Nissan pickup, they have been buying these for the last 15 years...)

Has anyone here actually driven a Town Car? It's one of the NICEST rides I've ever been in.
If you still have qualms about it, just get it in black and hire a driver. BAM, instant mafioso! ;)

Why would I start a topic on such an ugly, floaty riding, ass ugly car like a Town Car?

The front end looks different, and better, but still it's Town Car. :frown:

True but it can't be to hard to make a 4 door a 2 door. Turning it into a vert might take a bit more work though :).

I find the Town Car and the Camry to have similar rides..both are floaty! :D

Personally, I wouldn't mind an Lincoln, but the older RWD models with the 7L V8s..and those covered lights in the front. Looks bad-ass.

I think alot of people must have ridden Town Cars. Working in Manhattan, nearly all of the car services use them here. They are a dime a dozen around here.

On a side note, one of my friends was given a Town Car by her dad. The first day she had it she parked it on the street in Queens. Next day, she found someone stole her hood. Then the next day someone stole her side mirrors. Everyday she lost some part of her car. There is a huge market for parts for Town Cars here in NYC obviously.
