I don't know about you, but at the majority of colleges/universities there's two semesters. Spring and Fall. Anything else done in the winter or summer is extra. Don't try and argue about terms, that's completely different.

With the exception of one of my "in-major" courses (Project Management for Engineers), it's been all male. (The PM course had one woman in it, out of about 50 students.)
