ATI is selling AIW 9700 Pro on their website for $450. Is there any other vendor selling this board ?

I don't know for a fact but I imagine Hercules will do some.
They've been consistently releasing AIW Radeon's since the R7500, so I doubt they'll stop now.
I expect them to probably to an AIW R9500 at the least, to cover the lower end niche that needs AIW cappabilities without the excess of the R9700.

ATI makes every AIW card (including the Herc cards) and will continue to be the only AIW manufacturer.

Well if you really want to be specific then ATi only produced the AIW 8500DV in-house... all of the other more modern AIW's are produced by Saphire as are the vast majority of their boards.

its true. saphire has been manufacturing most of the ATI boards

I sure cant afford this for $430 , but on the bright side AIW 8500 has gone below $180 :)

Kinda sounded bad the way I said it. What I meant was every AIW will be an ATI board, there will be no "flaming commando" AIW's or Tyan AIW's or whatever, no 3rd party manufactures will make an AIW card. The only difference will be the tuner format, like the PAL model for Europe. ATI has stated publicly that despite their changing to a chip supplier model rather than board manufacterer, they will continue to be the sole maker of the AIW card.
