I have everything set up right like it says. I am using a svideo cable to the purple box thing which is plugged into the right jack. I can watch the video but when I try and capture it says there is no video input source. I am using Ulead Videostudio 6. Premiere won't recognize it wither.

ANY IDEAS?

I have a Sansung SCL550.

Thanks alot.

Ok maybe I can help.....got two of the same card. It's a software/driver problem....not hardware.I'm using VideoStudio 7.0 and Premiere 6.5. After I upgraded the driver to cat3.2, installed DirectX 9.0a, and Media Player 9.0, both those capture progs would crash immediately upon opening...XP pro completely updated to that point. ATI's capture prog (with MMCenter 7.7) worked ok, as did all the Intervideo capture progs.
FWIW...there is a patch for Premiere (beta) you can get off the MS website, under 3rd party patches (I didn't try it) so others are having problems here also.

To get all my capture programs working as they should here's what I'm using now....Cat drivers 3.1, capture, driver and control panel. MMcenter 7.2, Direct X 9.0 (not 9.0a), and the version of MS media player that came with XP, not the new 9.0.
Somehow the combo of the new versions don't go well together...this is my fix for that problem....Maybe newer, yet to be released progs/drivers will work better.

I'm using MMC 8.1 Cat 3.2 and the newest WDM drivers with no issues with my Media Junior rig. What happens if you use MMC for capture. What drivers, OS are you using?
