I personally use a Canon multipass f60. Black ink cartridge and each individual color carts are around $5 each. Excellent photo quality (on normal paper), and some speedy copying. I got mine for less than $200.

Would i be able to use it in the MP 730?

thx for the inouts guyz

The only bad thing anyone has said about the MP 730 was something about scanning wrong.

I actually have no idea what the mp730 is, so I suggest you just get a multipass f60 or f80 🙂 it appears monsterinkjets has lowered their prices on these ink carts once again!

1.79 for a black ink tank 🙂

nah, that review is obviously wrong 🙂

the only thing that sucks about this multifunction printer is the included software (the multipass suite), which in its limited version only allows 600 dpi scanning, even though the scanner itself is capable of much better specs. Thus you should use a third party scan utility to enable higher resolutions and such. otherwise, the printer makes an excellent copy machine and prints at a fairly decent quality. There aren't really any allignment problems as long as you allign the inkhead whenever the printer tells you to.

I hate to be negative but it seems like Lexmark goes out of there way, NAY, strategically designs there printers to... Yes... Suck.
All jokes aside, I have had many compatability and driver problems with lexmarks "Multifunction" devices. I put multifunction in quotes because if it dont function can it really be multifunctional? 🙂
