Same here. The instructions say the serial number should be two letters followed by 16 numbers. The serial number I got via email was just 16 numbers, no letters. Anyone get one with letters?

Not I... I tried prefixing my serial with SO, PO, JS, just for kicks... For those, I get an invalid serial message. The "real" serial is the only things that nets the "Data not received by server" error, for me.

I'm also getting the same "Data not received by server. Please try again." message. Oh, well, it was worth trying though. Thanks anyway. Hope you guys get it.

I got my serial number but I won't be able to try the download until I get to work in the morning. Maybe it'll work then....

That link was emailed to me by Sun, my serial number has no letters either. Sorry. I will also keep trying.
(I guess I should have downloaded before posting!)

just got an e-mail from sun acknowledging the downloading problems from last night. i downloaded staroffice 6 without problems. however, even though i have cable modem, they only had links to the download for low-bandwidth ppl, which means 12 separate .bin files (i downloaded the StarOffice for the Intel version of Solaris). anybody know if there's a way to decompress these files and burn everything onto a cd so that it's like a normal staroffice cd?
