Nice to see justice not be denied by bullshit claims of self-defense. That really was a bonkers trial, still can't believe the defense brought up the poor guys toenails.

I hope they throw the book at those three assholes. Life sentences.

she ain't off the hook

Nice article. I especially liked the part where Johnson just lost an election to head a five county prosecutor office-and she was defeated by an independent who had to collect thousand of signatures to get on the ballot. Shows that every once in a while the people stand up and take control of their government.

I like how she blamed the controversy around the case for her loss and never acknowledged the fact she caused the controversy in the first place.

Johnson blamed the controversy over Arbery's death for her election defeat last year after a decade as top prosecutor for the five-county circuit in southeast Georgia. She was defeated by independent candidate Keith Higgins, who had to collect thousands of signatures to get on the ballot.

I hope they get thrown in general population and not some protective custody. Then they'll get see what life is like when they're the n*ggers.

I get where you are coming from, but man, that's a shitty way to say it. Just be content they will likely be getting the full prison experience; there's no need to dip into the same kind of hateful mindset that created this tragedy. IMO.

I was just watching American History X and that's what the nazi character's black workmate in the laundry told him when he got into prison.

Aryan Nation is strong in prison. They will have many, many allies. They will only become worse humans.

How much worse of humans can they become? Those two chased a black man down for jogging down their street, hit him with their truck, and murdered him with a shotgun while deplorable #3 shot the snuff film.

I have seen it seems dozens of OTA TV network stations' news stories on the trial. The video they have shown, except for tonight, was incredibly sparse. You can't tell what's happening other than this:

Arbury walking up to and into a construction site, curious (I used to do that when I was a kid, never took anything, those are fascinating), him jogging down the street and the truck intervening, and a still of confrontation between Arbury and one of the men which is completely unclear in terms of getting any idea of what transpired other than that it was physical, two men engaging. Didn't even show the gun.

Tonight, they showed a bit more, I could see the gun. Then they show Biden saying that the "whole world" saw the video of what happened.

OK, where is this video the whole world saw????????

Much worse. Our for profit prison system often has the tendency to further dehumanize inmates into totally broken people, perpetually in fight or flight mode. Murdering someone with a gun is considered tame by the Aryans. Those sick fucks murder and mutilate their victims, take trophies, then paint the walls and floor with the blood of the guy they just gutted. I think there's more hard drugs in the AB than fervent racist beliefs, but zin is right these guys will likely be seen as celebrities of a sort and be protected in some way.

Only reason this ever got prosecuted was because murderer #3's snuff film got released onto social media.
Searching I found and just watched this. It shows in considerable detail what the court case was built around, expressly the video (far more than I saw on TV news program coverage anywhere, any time) and four pros analyze it in a zoom.
