If Curt doesn't have a PayPal account, or doesn't want to, I would be willing to collect the pledges and send them to Dave & Donna via PayPal if that's OK with the rest of the Seti Calvary & Friends. 🙂

I can take pledges sent via Check/Money Order, move the funds to the PayPal account, and send it all in one lump sum to the McOwens too. 😀

Or we can all just send to Dave McOwen's PayPal account. 🙂

Last time I sent money to Daves fund I used my credit card, but I think they may take a percentage of that or something I'm not sure.

Yes, PayPal takes a cut too...don't remember..but 1.5 or 2% I think! 🙁
 
I think PayPal takes a cut after you've either done a certain amount of transactions, or after a certain amount of money, not sure which. I haven't hit either yet.

It's from the receiver side...(David's side) that they take the cut..so it's probably pretty big considering the money sent....🙁

My_Pledge_Amount = $15.31

That calculation is based on the assumption that Paypal takes 2%.

 
I don't think we should worry too much about the paypal cut... if we're going to do this right, let's get MOs from the PO so that Dave doesn't take a hit!

I didn't realize that the Freedom fighters are looking at a DC project other than Seti for this. The hell with fate $350!!!!!!
