Hi.

I need to download that WDM driver from ATI but they(ATI) recomend that iyou should install the WDM drivers first before you video cards drivers or you will get an error.

So should i use the Catalyst 6.2 or the lastest one from ATI?

Guys please reply fast....

Someone here said that they were having problems with 6.3 and after uninstalling that and installing the 6.2 drivers everything was fine.

That doesn't matter for you, necessarily, one guy with a problem - you need to look up that post and see what card it was with, and what app(s)...

6.3 is good for me. Big boost in preformance on my X1900XTX from the 6.2 Omega drivers, went from 4900 to 5800 in 3DMark 06.

I installed the WDM drivers after the display drivers, and no problems occured...
I'm still using cat 6.2. "If it aint broke dont fix it" mentality, I guess.
But if you're installing a fresh new driver, might as well get the latest one.

Yep, me too. Still on the 6.2's but if I was doing a fresh install I would use the latest. I haven't upgraded because it didn't seem there were any issues addressed for my card.

I don't know what the Hell Happended!!!

I uninstalled everything, fine no problems.

I did as ATI said....

1...Install the WDM drivers first and don't reboot.

2...After installing the WDM drivers then install the drivers for the video card now you can reeboot.

This is the screen i got after i did Step 2(this was right in the end of the install process for the cards video drivers).

The PIC...:Q

What do you think happened:|?

After i got that (which let me say i never got before), i just clicked "ok" and i restarted my PC.

So far i don't think anything is wrong...

I going to play a round of Far Cry to see if these anything wrong:confused:.

Should i be worried:Q?

I havent seen that error before. I would suggest uninstalling all the ati drivers, then run driver cleaner to clean up whatever ati components are left. Then install the display driver only - no wdm driver, no ccc - just the bare driver and see if it still gives you the problem. If not, then install the other stuff. If the problem persists, then uninstall it again and install cat 6.2 instead.
