What do they mean by "Collector's Dubbed Subtitle"?

I don't know but after season 1 the DVD's have CC (closed captioning) and no subtitles, so the letters are white inside black boxes. At least thats the only option in my software player, where as season 1 had subtitles in the same player. CC is kinda annoying because of the black boxes. Any ideas why they have CC? I've never seen any other DVD's with it but I guess they are just using the feed they give networks.

OK, well, then this is not some "imported" version that Best Buy is getting cheap.

Goody, goody. I wanted a few of these "24" season sets for Christmas but I told people NOT to buy them for me if they were at full price ($40+)...because I KNOW these go on sale occasionally (rarely) and I hate people paying full price for anything.

Now I feel like I really made out by sticking to my guns! Holiday is over and NOW they finally give up on the price. Buggers! But I "got them", haha!

I have never watched a single episode of the show.......as I lived over seas and couldnt get it. Now that I am back in America I want to watch but I needed to start from Season one and now this is my chance!

i like the digital available - run it through my Xbox
I'll probably download the TV rips, but to the OP - good deal!

Is this online only? I'm assuming so, since it wasn't in their ad, which means CC won't pricematch (heck, they probably wouldn't PM even if it was in their ad).

Just for that I'll spread the word so we don't PM our ad. 😛

The deal was advertised on the back page of the sunday BB ad. Definitely not online only.

Thanks, OP. None of the available pickup location near me have these in stock, so I went ahead and ordered online.

Yeah, I saw that later on...missed it. Of course, it would help if Best Buy and Circuit City hadn't stopped including print ads in papers that are delivered outside of the city where they're located (now I have to hit the website every week and I often forget about the last page).

Anyway, I hit CC after work, and asked about a price match. The severely confused worker in the DVD department first told me that no, they won't pricematch DVDs, then took a breath and told me that yes they would but only if I had an ad, then said yes but I had to do it at the front desk but had to buy them in the DVD department first, etc.

By that time i took the DVDs away from her before she hurt herself and went to the front. After 20 agonizing minutes of waiting while the clerk called what was presumably every Best Buy store in the tri-state area (couldn't chance that ONE store was out of stock, now, could we?) she reluctantly agreed to PM seasons 1-4. However, she said she most certainly would NOT PM season 5. When I asked her why, she said "because it's new. It just came out this week, so it wouldn't be on sale anywhere". I pointed out the ad from Best Buy indicating that yes indeed Season 5 was on sale. She said "nope, we don't PM new stuff".

Huh?

I asked her again why they would not honor a price just because it was new. She stared at me for almost a minute, then, as if her internal script kicked in, said "all other stores are out of stock". So, somehow, they went from in stock but won't PM because no other stores have them on sale, to they don't PM new stuff, to every other store is out of stock. She then offered to sell it to me anyway, and said (get this, this is the best part) that I could "come back later in the week and get a PM". I asked how I could get a PM later if she wouldn't do it now, she replied "oh by then it'll be back in stock".

Am I communicating with these people on some other plane of existence?

Bah, I want these, but i'm waiting for my reward zone points from Black Friday to turn into gift card credits. As of now they've posted to my account, but I still can't print the card codes. Stupid BB.
