How's the ATI PCI Express X300 vid card?

I've heard it is very comparable to a Radeon 9600 Pro or XT.

NO!

The x300 SE is a PCI-E version of the 9600SE. It runs at 325MHz core and about 400MHz memory speed (64-bit interface). Like the 9600SE, it also only has 4 pipelines. Performance is far inferior to the 9600 Pro.

edit: the regular x300 is like a 9600 non-pro.

Thanks for the info pxc, very informative.

Not ebay, dell outlet.

If you get em off of ebay, you'll be putting money into bamacre's pocket.
