Randomly. Sometimes they add 3 or 4, sometimes, 200. You have to be kind of fast, depending on the system. I've missed out on some very good deals.

Unfortunately, I'm holding off buying any more right now. I just found out I am having a problem in regards to my last batch of Dell refurb's that sold on ebay. UPS sent a $1400 Dell 8400 to someone who bought a $460 Dell 8300, and vice versa. Of course I got contacted by the guy who got sent the cheaper instead of the $1400, but I have yet to hear from the guy who got the $1400 system instead of the $460 one. Damn UPS. They were sent insured, so I have no idea how this is going to pan out.

The coupons are pretty much the same as when I bought my refurb 8400 last month. 😀 Mine came out to $409 after discounts/coupon with free shipping:

I realize this is dead. But I offer a caveat regarding dell outlet.

I ordered a system with a 9800 Pro and then I receive an invoice with an "M9" video card. I called dell up immediately and canceled the order. Well, it still showed up at my door; so, I refused. I called dell back up and got a huge run around. I wasted hours on hold, and responses to my e-mails have either been ignored or they say that the system was delivered to me (w/o providing proof of signature) or they say "we have no record of cancellation."

6 weeks later. My credit card still charged (in dispute though). And absolutely no resolution or competent response from dell.

Don't trust the outlet listings especially for exotic components.

Well, I have sold quite a few on Ebay and so far I have had zero complaints in regards to the hardware listed and actually delivered. I can agree about Dell's service though, horrible at times.

NO!

The x300 SE is a PCI-E version of the 9600SE. It runs at 325MHz core and about 400MHz memory speed (64-bit interface). Like the 9600SE, it also only has 4 pipelines. Performance is far inferior to the 9600 Pro.

edit: the regular x300 is like a 9600 non-pro.
