Alive 9.99 add it to your cart dvd refurb player

Grazie!! I got one coming. Mine was $17.83 with shipping. A friend just ordered 3 and shipping was only $8.52 for all three.

$17.83 for ground.. $20.00 even for 2nd day so went with that 🙂 Hopefully it works much better then the POS i bought on a black friday sale last year 🙁

I purchased this from Fry's sometime back for 14.99 plus shipping. It is a decent DVD player but it does not support other medias. Cheap is the key word here. It feels cheap but it plays fairly well. Decent Purchase!

Does this thing play DVD+R/RW, VCDs or SVCDs?

Specs:
Plays DVD Video, DVD-R/RW, Audio CD,
CD-RW, CD-R, and CD MP-3 Files

Found this on http://www.videohelp.com/dvdpl...h=Search&#comments

Doesn't look like the player supports many +/-R discs or (S)VCD's.

Thanks, your link uncovered this unflattering user review:

"Bought this piece of crap from Wally World on a whim. Turns out that the only thing it will play are original DVD's. Maybe someone will post a bios upgrade or somehting.

Save yourself the trouble and don't buy it, unless your only using it for store bought discs. But then again who looks at this website unless you burn your own. "

ground shipping as low as $4.95? do you have to live inside their warehouse to get that price, otherwise they're just taunting us

GOT ONE! woot!~
alright! a dvd player that plays dvds! woot!

Thanks for the post JokerSmoker! I got in on it this morning but I didn't post my thanks because I was on a computer without my password here saved. Anyhow, I got a new tv for my bedroom as a gift and I figured it might be nice to watch movies in bed. For $18 shipped, it was a good deal. Let's just hope refurb doesn't mean crap.

Am I crazy???? It's showing 19.99 again, on two different computers.😕

Add to cart. I checked and it shows 9.99 then too. I sent the link around to friends. Maybe some more will get in on it.

I guess they may have updated their firmware, because I just bought one last week at Wally's for a cheapo gift and I was wondering the same thing. I took it out of the box just to see if it would play my "backup" DVD-r's. Played all four I tried.

It's also back up to 19.99 and Wal Mart has it for 24.99(?).

Peace

Still $9.99 for me, was $19.99 earlier when I bought mine as displayed on the page, but like it says earlier in this thread, once added to cart becomes $9.99.

I just received mine.. I had to pay $7 shipping, but love how fast stuff from Outpost gets to me -- they are bar-none the only online retailer that has exceeded my shipping expectations.

Anyway, I tried the player out and it worked very well.. audio/video stayed in sync after skipping chapters, fast forwarding & pausing. Got it for my parents since I took my DVD player when I moved out.

Came with remote, 4 batteries (even tho remote takes 2), instructions and RCA cable. I wouldn't want this as my primary DVD player, but for a gift or a secondary DVD player.. for $17 (after shipping) you can't beat it.
